Firstly sorry if this is in the wrong place.. I have a Light Weight 24 Volt petrol fuel guage fault, (Reads full all the time) I've disconnected the senders and it zeros (Reads empty) , fitted new sender and it does exactly the same...have tried it out of the tank , with an earth straight...
