I know this has been done to death on various LR models but if cost was not the issue, would blanking off the (failing) egr valves on my 05 Disco 3 be the best option?

On holiday last week and the auxiliary drive belt on my 300tdi started shredding itself on the inside (closest to the engine). Put a new one on and 50 miles later same thing. A quick look underneath shows the steering pulley pump to be responsible. How can this be? Any ideas?

Can you over cool a diesel engine (300tdi)? Just put an uprated rad on and its not hit 70"c yet (capilliary temp gauge).

I occasionally use my 110 300 tdi as a shed puller. The van is a single axle and not the heaviest. On anything other than the flat it struggles, temp in the red and on that long uphill drag on the A55 north wales, second gear! Full size Allard intercooler, silicon hoses, Kenlowe fan, straight...

My 300tdi lwb has a Allisport intercooler which is huge. The rad is behind this with no space. No prob normally till I try towin(caravan) then things start warming up,into the red. I know I need more air to the rad, but before i start drillin an cuttin has anyone sorted this yet.

Hi all, I have an Allisport intercooler on my 110 300tdi, can this be flushed in-situ? if so any pointers gladly recieved.

Any ideas as to what causses the occasional but violent steering judder on my 110. This occurs at speed after going over a slight bump or change in road surface. cheers in anticipation.

Recently aquired a 110 csw with everything on it. The shocks need replacing. It spends most of its time on the road (shamefull) So I was looking for a few recomends. I like the way it looks on standard shocks so not really looking for a lift kit. Give us a clue Cheers
