my 3.5 v8 (with carbs) has been back firing alot on start up, and not just little pop's, sometimes it sounds like a shotgun going off. everytime it does this the performance seems to change too, as in sometimes i cant put my foot down in 3rd and 4th. any helpful input would be appreciated guys

Well they showed the new Land rover Dc100 today, which has been confirmed as the replacement for the Defender in 2015. Looks pretty but it does not look like the old work horse you'd expect from a defender. what do you guys think?

my classic rangie (76) is now sporting a defender body. The straight up gear stick gets so close to the dash in 1st and 3rd that i sometimes crack my knuckles. is there an easy fix for this? or should i go to the effort of warming up the stick and bending it closer me (if so how risky is this...

ok guys, 3.5 v8 has 2 sender units on the engine, the water temp sender sticks out of the front of the block. there's a 2nd one on the top, is it an oil temp/pressure sender or something else. any help appreciated guys
