Im torn between the power of the V8, or the economy of a diesel, but cant decide what to do. The disco has a 3.9 v8 in there at the moment, but i am very tempted to swap the engine to a TD, What do you guys think?

Hi all, I am having some problems with selecting gears in the auto box on my v8 disco 1. i can put it in to reverse fine and it reverses ok If i put it in to drive it wont do a thing, though if i put it in to 1st it will pull off then once moving it can be put into drive. Oil level seems ok on...

Does anyone have a spare alternator that will fit a 3.9 v8 disco? I live in Hinckley, Leicestershire. I can collect and have cash waiting. (i wont buy a new one cuz im a tight arse!:D

Hello every one, Steve from Hinckley, Leicestershire here! Brought my first landy back in December its a 94 V8 disco, Only probs are: rear suspension bushes were shot- now fixed (in the snow!) both front doors and tail gate springs broke - work in progress battery being a lazy sod- got new one...
