Just pulled up outside my house in my 90 300tdi and BANG!:eek: Battery light came on and thought it might be aux belt, Lifted bonnet to discover the whole belt tensioner and housing had fell off! Upon further examination noticed that the bolt that hold tensioner to engine had sheered...

Hi, I have a Defender 90 300 tdi 1996. and the rear prop has gone! trying to source a secondhand one and been told i have the 200 tdi prop? it doesn't have the rubber doughnut around the UJ. Question, Does the Discovery 200tdi prop fit? Anyone have a prop i can Buy? Thanks in advance.

I have a 1996 Defender 90 and the heater stopped working, i bought a secondhand heater box from fleabay and it still dont work? i cant get my head around why it wont work but took a direct current to the fan ind all is fine, All fuses look ok but dont know which one the fuse for heater is...

i got stuck yesterday in my defender 90 with diff lock on and in low, got out to see what was happening with engine running and in 1st gear :eek: nearside front and rear wheels spinning, offside rear spinning but offside front wheel wasn't!!! Is this normal? When i eventually become un'stuck...

I have just snapped my heater control in my 90, it's the one that controls the fan speed on the left, it started getting stiff then snapped on me today!! What do i need to do to get it working again? Thanks in advance Its a 1997 300 tdi

Just started to notice that when i drive my wifes 90 it feels "detached"! What i mean is it feels like the back end is floating / not attached to the chassis. I have been underneath and cant see anything other than i dont seem to have an antiroll bar fitted? is this normal? Cheers

Just noticed a rattle on my 90, thought it might be an exhaust clamp or something but it don't rattle when i apply brakes. Am i right in thinking it might be a loose brake pad? is this common? anything to worry about? how easy to rectify? Thanks in advance

Hi, does anyone know what the fuses under the bonnet are for in order and what ampage should they be? It seems mine has been bodged in the past. I will list what mine has front to back (should make a few people laugh) 20 amp, 60 amp, junior hacksaw blade, 30 amp.!!!!!!! if going by the colours...

Just bought a 90 today and been out playing. when i engaged dif lock the light comes on as it should, the first time i disengaged it the light went of but the second time it stayed on for a few minutes after disengaging? is it a sticky switch or something more sinister? Thanks in advance
