a mate of mine has got a 110 defender 200tdi and he is thinkin of buying my 200tdi disco so he can swap axles both of his are battered question is is it a straight swap or is there gonna be hidden probs are all the splines gonna match my disco is a 92 the defender is 93 a help appreciated

my 300tdi will not move forward or backward.i can put it in gear while the engine is running without using the clutch there is no grinding noise or any other its not jumping out of gear i can select all 5 gears and reverse diff lock not makin any diffrence diff lock light on dash is lighting...

hiya ive just bought a 300tdi the guy i bought it off said he thought the transfer box had broke started the car today in nuetral and in gear and in hi and lo ratio.there was no strange noises and its not jumping out of gear just not moving forward or backwards could it be the clutch or is it...

does the 200tdi have an egr valve i,ve got no power low down until turbo kicks in dont know when its coming in cos rev counter not workin m bro has got an alfa romeo td he had same thing and it was his egr any help appreciated cheers chris

hi bought my first disco recently and the heater only works every now and then the last time it sounded as if something was stopping the fan turning properly i need to know how best to take it out do i need to remove all the dash any help appreciated cheers chris
