Somethings leaking on my 2004 TD4

No loss of power but I'm getting the smell of diesel coming from under the bonnet. I had a look and this is what I see. It seems to be coming from that wire connected to the big hose there. Any ideas?

Mondo Mode, told insurers and waiting, waiting..

I've been a good girl and told my insurer that my hippo is now in mondo mode (i have my reasons). I thought it would be a simple phone call but am now awaiting a call back after 2 hours so far as they don't seem to be able to get their heads round it and have had to refer it to 'scrutiny'...

    D2 High speed booming noise

So with the UJs fixed on my D2, I'm left with the problem of a deep booming noise that seems to come from the rear of the vehicle at high speed (70-100 mph). At lower speeds it just seems that I'm getting more road noise than I should, but as I speed up the loud road noise becomes the boom...

Thanks for UJ advice, problem solved

Thanks everyone for advice on overhauling the propshafts on my 2002 Disco II. The vibes/shudder problem was half solved when I replaced all four cross pieces, then three quarters solved when I replaced the doughnut. But it wasn't 100% solved until I changed the locator bearing in the double...

    RRC Starting Problem

Hi, Vehicle electrics aren't my strong point, so I was wondering whether anyone could help me solve a starting problem on my RRC, 1984 3.5 V8 on carbs. Two V8 Questons

Hello All, It's Mr. Da Range here, not my Hippo-driving wife! I have two V8 related questions. Q 1. My 1984 3.5 Carb V8 RRC has had, at some point in its history, long before I bought it, a carb conversion. In place of the twin SU carbs it now has a single Rochester down-draught off a Jeep or...
