1990 2.5 diesel seems disabled by the alarm. Can start by frigging to start solenoid. With key hazard lights flash intermittently. Is there a reset procedure?

My 1990 2.5 diesel sounds like exhaust manifold is blowing, just changed manifold gaskets and it is still doing it. Any ideas?
