Having had the head gasket confirmed by LR, does anyone know if i can covert my freelander to take a different engine? ie swap the 1.8i for something else?

Just got home onto the drive and smoke started blowing out the exhasut and the engine sounds like a tractor. Looked in the water and it looked very murkie?? Does that sound like a head gasket?:eek:
