Hi all I just put a new stereo in my TD5 and noted it doesn't have a permanent live 12v to keep all the memory etc. Does anyone know if this is normally the case? Or is the original stereo connected to the ECU using a canbus to turn it on etc

Hi All I have a 4.0 SE manual P38 which has developed a strange chirping (almost dry bearing sound) that is present under acceleration. It sounds like it is rotational and like it is coming from beneath the air box?(although sounds do get thrown about). it doesn't sound like a terminal...
