Asking a question on behalf of my Dad - he's looking at dropping a new(ish) BMW diesel V8 (I think) engine into a SWB Defender. Several questions: 1) Anyone done this before/is it possible? 2) If so, what needs to be done (ie presumably engine mounts, bell housing... but much else)? 3)...
