hi all,if i remove my front prop shaft what if any damage would it do? as my transfer box is worn but only makes a clunk from front prop, i dont want to do it long term just till i can get another box as i am not planning any offroading till its sorted,cheers. mik

hi all,thanks to all that gave me advice on this problem. i have had it checked out now and the fault is the transfer box worn,so i am going to get some prices for fixing it,as at the same time i had it checked for its mot and all it needs is 1 plate welding on inner wing and 2 brake pipes over...

hi all,again yet another problem 1992 2.5tdi clunking when taking up drive and after changing gfrom first to second does seem ok in rest of gears olso does it in lowbox any ideas.cheers mik

hi all (again):( , 2.5tdi picks up and runs fine on runs ect,but around 30mph its lumpy at low speed after gearing down,feels like its a kangaroo till it picks up again,any ideas chaps? cheers. madmik

hi all, just bought my first old land rover discovery 2.5 tdis,its a (dont laugh) 1992 but its brill,i took it on a dirt track yesterday and i could have stayed on it all day! :),my wife is not happy at mo she liked our zaffira,but she will come round i hope.cheers. madmik
