Anyone offer any advice on my TD5 Discovery 2, the oil lamp has come on and a rattle that sounds more like a chain than a bearing when running, I think it was run about 100 yards, what is the best way to fix it and what is needed ? Thanks

I have a disco 2 TD5 and have noticed that the brake lights and reverse lights don't work, can anyone tell me if this is typical of the brake switch or more likely the BCU ? also how do I test the switch as it appears to have 4 wires going to it ? Thanks
