Please can someone tell me if it's an not failure not been mentioned on any mots for last 3 years but it's there and its worrying me for mot tommoro

New to the scene so thanks for having me just bought a 300tdi es disco having an issue with what I believe to be altenator 12v at the battery but only 10.81 when running . Will bump start and stay running but wont turn over ??
