    s3 transfer box problem

    The gearbox in my lightweight blew up a while ago so ive just about finished putting in a replacement but on driving it the transfer box jumps out of high every time you let off the throttle. It dosnt feel like the lever is going far enough forward, is there any way to adjust it?

    200 tdi into lightweight

    Seeing as ive got to change the gearbox on the landy im going to change the engine while im at it. Anyone done this conversion? if so, any tips? Ive got the link to the engineering firm that does it but they recommend taking off the turbo, is this really for the best?

    Recommend me a winch

    Got stuck out rabbiting the other night, miles from anywhere, 2 in the morning, you know the story. So Im thinking of a demountable winch for emergencies. Must be cheap, light but still able to do the job. Any recommendations?

    RR diffs into series 3

    I have got a series 3 lightweight with a 2.5 n/a diesel fitted by the previous owner, as such it is very low geared and I have decided that the most cost effective way to remedy this is to fit RR diffs. Does anybody know of any pitfalls to watch out for?
