    Radiator change. 12j to Td5

    My 12j radiator has a small leak. Soon my rebuilt td5 engine is going in. Can I just buy a td5 radiator and hook that up the current 12j? Are the mounting brackets the same? My guess is not…but I’m sure people on here will have a better idea than me. Trying to avoid buying two radiators! TIA

    Oil pressure test kit

    I’m trying to run an engine on a stand before puting into car. Td5. Anyone have any experience with a pressure test kit that works plugged into back of oil cooler. Book says can use LRT-12-052C but hard to get hold of. Any oil pressure test kit with right thread should work tho right??? TIA

    Got a d2 16p td5 Ecu and wiring loom...planning to put into my defender. Want to get it running on the floor before installation. Taking the ecu to sort the immobiliser issue this week. Don’t have a bcu tho...(unnecessary in a defender I think)... and planning to change the gearbox from auto...

    Compression test on engine stand

    So just imported a TD5 to the US to re engine my old ex mod 90 12j. Saw the engine run in uk before i shipped it but keen to check the compression on while its out of the green machine. Any suggestions on how to do this with it just on an engine stand? Turning over by hand not ideal I realize...
