hey guys . i am trying to replace the three springs on the syncro clutch . book says i need to split all of the box and transfer case to remove the bell housing . is there an easy way to remove the bell housing without splitting the box and transfer case ?

hi guys .just been changing oil in gear box on my series 2a . took out the drain plug and found two small pieces of what looks like sprung steel . they are about 1 inch long and about half an inch wide with a bit of a curl on one end and a fold on the other end . the curled parts mate up...
