My freelander has started knocking from what sounds and feels like the drivers side footwell.what could it be.

Does anybody no if the freelander 1.8 petrol w reg has a bleed nipple to need up the clutch. It has a complete unit for the slave and master cylinder. Iv just replace it and the clutch has gone spongey and won't go into gear. Cheers Gaz

Hi iv just purchased a freelander 2000 1.8 petrol. Iv just replaced The clutch and slave cylinder complete set. I noticed the fluid was low in the top so I topped it up.started the car and now the clutch is very spongey and won't go into gear.any suggestions. Cheers gaz.
