My 140K V8 needs a rebuild soon, burning oil etc, I think the piston rings have gone, so I'm going to bite the bullet later this year and have rebuild. I've spoken to quite a few different places from V8 specialists, local Landrover garages... in all it seems a cost of anything between 3-4.5K...
