On my series 11a 1962 there is what looks like a corroded brass plug on the engine block just below the exhaust manifold at the rear of the engine. Can anyone tell me what this is? Many thanks

Hi Ive aquired a later 5 bearing engine to replace the worn 3 bearing unit that is in my '62 swb. Can i use the existing clutch or will I have to replace it with a later clurch unit. I am keeping the original gearbox.
