anyone know how to separate transfer box from a ZF4hp24 gearbox, do I have to open up the transfer box:confused::confused::confused:

Hi, my 1996 2.5 DSE RR gearbox lost drive, its a ZF4HP22 No 1043 010 728 are all ZF4HP22 RR gearboxes compatable with mine. the gearbox has drive when cold but it goes again when car gets hot. any ideas or compatable boxes:D:D:D
