If this was a Series I would remove rear prop', go for a drive and see if noise stops. Tyres have to have equal wear, but Haldex failure is common.

I belive Prestone say it can be used as replacement but I keep it for top ups.

I would stick with the old standard - Blue If you want to change, then the whole system has to be cleared and flushed before use. Prestone do a Universal, but I think this best kept for the occasional top up. And my decider. The blue is cheaper - at the moment ...
