Sorry I only use the engine oils not ATF, but I do recommend the engine oils so can't see a problem with the ATF

I use Mannol engine oils in both my P38 and MX5

Everything mentioned above plus any thing we may have forgotten

MAP sensor. I've just had a dodgy one that caused similar faults

Unplug the MAF and run it. If the MAF is faulty you will notice a difference straight away. It defaults to saved settings. Bit sluggish when cold but runs fine once warmed up. Be careful of the cheap chinesium copies if you buy a new one

Squeeze the pipes. I had a split you couldn't see but when I squeezed the pipe opened up

Many thanks to @doriz Thanks to Lee I now have my own Nanocom and not relying on having to go to the yard and use the one up there. I'd noticed last week he still had it for sale so bit the bullet and dived in. Sorted our transaction out monday and took delivery wednesday. Had a few problems...

I bought the socket it is a 27mm injector socket. About a tenner off the bay if I remember correctly

Several of us have had the same and found that by tightening up of the injector has cured the problem

+1 on that I've changed 2 on my diesel was just plug and play

Given the RR an engine oil and filter change

White smoke on start up is usually unburnt fuel from bad glow plugs

Difficult to start from cold is usually glow plugs

Wammers post in tech archive is the one for fuel pump measurement and states relay 12. IF thats of any help

Exactly Tony and his son used to specialise in working and making road worthy cars from the 60 and 70's, so have a good knowledge and tolerance of the older vehicle.
