    More Work Needed!

i know thats why i asked the motor type. For any motor, the specs are 1000% percent important. Quality of oil, maybe you can play around with but do your research and you will understand. Google lake speed the oil geek.

    More Work Needed!

Hub seals and Radius arm is dire imo. Any worn bushes can throw off alignment and possibly cause a death wobble in the future etc. Hub seals also are something i would sort out. if the source of the leak is coming from your wheel bearings again something I would address asap. c3 spec for that...

ouch! seals are probably shot, mine leaks as well not an issue but dont take it wading but will never wade with mine could be the lack of lubricity due to water damage , try renewing the oil see what happens

    Rusty wheel nuts & studs

Unless you bought cheapos, they shouldnt rust for years, and I live in a place where they use a salt brine in the winter on the roads. If you worried about rust and cost, the extra you would have paid for stainless steel you are now paying for a rust inhibitor and will do so for coming years...

    Bang when shifting - TD5 110

Another gent is helping me in another forum with this, maybe someone else here may have another opinion on the issue I have.... first video is with difflock not engaged and the last video the propshaft moves in sync with the wheel For more context i uploaded a video....

Strange Start Up Noise - TD5

How so? I have tried Mobil1 High Mileage Extended Performance which is basically top of top for quality where I am at (unless you go for Castrol Gold Bottle) and it was loud as hell. Unless I spend outrageous for quality Castrol is the best fit

Strange Start Up Noise - TD5

Thank you for the tip, Just checked now, it’s tight. No play. There is a small performance change in certain environments and I feel like it is the fuel pump. Again I am not very concerned because the truck has started up the same as the video since purchase. Will just let it be for now. I...

Strange Start Up Noise - TD5

I use OEM. From my understanding the suppliers for Genuine. Redline I would say is up there with the best. Expensive. I put it in my 1965 396 BigBlock. Works really nice. Royal Purple is great but more driven to north American vehicle specs.

Will this blow my seals? TD5

I was bored today and decided to make a catch can for my td5. Not sure yet if Ill put it on or leave it on the shelf. You think it would blow any seals or give any issues? hose barbs are 1 inch in diameter. ABS is 2 inches diameter. Hose is same as breather. Not sure if Ill put a baffle but I...

    Bang when shifting - TD5 110

Yes, diff lock. I mean I saw a video saying a little play in the propshaft is ok. Was not sure if there was a specific degree for this if it’s true?

    Bang when shifting - TD5 110

Perhaps someone can help me with this, not an issue but curious what the forum has to say.... When driving I have bit of what I would call slack in my drivetrain. The bite point for my clutch that I adjusted works well. However, I get a bang. I compensate this with a little bit of a higher...

Canada, -20 winters plus 30 summers, Never had an oil issue, 10w40 for -minus 10 seems heavy but I’ll take your word for it. I feel better using 5w oils If you like oils like myself, try lake speed jr. the oil geek on YouTube. He is pretty knowledgeable.
