You can ask him yourself, he speaks Dutch, French and English. His name is Robert and here I hope, if I can find it is his website. https://www.facebook.com/autoessentiel/?locale=fr_FR You WILL have to tell him if it is a facelift model or not. Are you French? If so you can post to me in...

Projector module. Is this for the facelift headlights? In which case why not just take one off and look for it? I do know that some cars do have this, years ago a bloke demonstrated his to me on his BMW and I think my ex- son inlaw had them on a let model Disco or a RR. Don't think you have...

Disco 2 Hard starting and power loss

The other known fault, well one of them, is that if your batt isn't up to snuff it might crank over but still not fire as the ECM doesn't see enough voltage. Try jumping it from another car, and/or get your batt properly tested. Frustrating, I know.

You may be able to get an earlier model's lights to fit in their place. I replaced one of my 2000 MY lights with one from a Disco 1 Which country are you in? Here in the south-east Tarn in France I see Disco ones driving around all the time and I know a bloke who breaks Landies so has LHD...

    VIN restamping

Can't you buy a set of stamps and do it yourself? How on earth can it cost that much, i.e. take 3 hours? I've had the police come to my place and stamp VIN numbers on kit car chassis, it took no time at all and obvs in the Uk it was free.

Sadly it isn't as easy as that, if it was plumbers wouldn't fit water pressure reducing valves. I actually looked into how they work, in case ours here packs up. tis all to do with a spring and a diaphragm.

Well done!!! (you were lucky the sensor replacement worked, let's hope your luck holds on other stuff!!) :) :) :)

    Odd problem (carburettors)

Peeps haven't needed to do that for a long time. Sprung ones do rub on the jet but that isn't allegedly, a problem.
