2004 Discovery 2 Can you swith RHD lights to LHD?

Have you heard back from Rob? I don't know if phase 1 ones will fit, you'll have to ask, but I do know that others have done the opposite, i.e changed phase 1s for phase 2s and they had to cut stuff about, so fitting phase 1s might be easier. You might need to get them off Rob and a few other...

Unable to bleed brakes (SOLVED) - Custom Brake Thread

I get the feeling you may not be old enough to have gone through the stage of trying to bleed the rear brakes on an old style Mini where the wheel cylinders were often fitted like that. I love the way you call cylinders in disc brake calipers "wheel cylinders". Maybe you ARE old enough to...

Disco 2 Wiring loom mess on steering column

Looks like something has been short circuited. Wonder what? Strikes me it can only be the controls for the stereo, the airbag, or the horn!

Is that Scottish for "No idea how we have come to be after 3 o'clock"? Cannot but agree with you, I'll be feeding the dogs in 3/4 of an hour and I haven't even done the dishwasher!!

    Fob not working to lock

On a lot of more modern cars the exterior lock is only on the passengr side as for LHD that is the driver's side! W's Citroen is just the same, as is the bonnet lock which can only be actione by opening the passenger side door.

Discovery Sport 2.2SE SD4 - Full tank but only 282 mile range?

The range changes all the time according to how you have been driving recently. Yessdi I went on a 3 hours drive in the wife's car, the range changed from 220 kms to 310 as I was driving most of the time in 5th gear. Previously it had only been doing shortish shopping type trips.

Discovery Sport 2.2SE SD4 - Full tank but only 282 mile range?

Only true test of consumption is a brim to brim test using the mileometer or tripmeter. Computers can get things wrong you know! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

So naffin hot here I have decided to keep all doors and windows shut until it cools down. W is in bed as her stomach problem is playing her up today. Nothing to do with the meal as far as we can see, more to do with the far distant remnant they have left attached to her for use at a later date...

Disco 2 Hard starting and power loss

Always worth a look again, the damage could have been done after you swapped it, or to one of the others. The bloke who welded mine up and had to take the tank out, obvs, managed somehow to damage the tank cos when I got it back there was white numbers painted in where the fuel pump sits, and...

Info for Bump starting a TD5 and checking injectors with a Nanocom

By "bumping" do you mean a start caused by pushing or towing it? Which is what most people mean by that, or do you mean a "jump start" i.e. leads from another battery, preferably connected to a car that is running? I think I am right in saying that that rpm under cranking will not start it. So...

Disco 2 Hard starting and power loss

I'm beginning to wonder, as it started after you had the chassis work done, whether one or more of the fuel pipes has developed a tiny crack or something. There is a known place where one or more rub on chassis rails, outa sight.
