    Exhaust Bracket Question

OK, good stuff. Yes hit the ground so did suspect I had lost something (mounting). I did suspect the exhaust should want some movement. The pic was a bitch to get, no space there. I will have a look at a similar 200tdi and see whats there, cheers

    Exhaust Bracket Question

Exhaust fell away from manifold last weekend when off roading. On examination, the bracket that connects to the engine (near the sump) was MIA. I have reconnected at manifold but cannot get anywhere near the connection point at bottom of engine (where exhaust starts its journey to back of car)...

It sticks such that even after driving for 30 mins plus, it still holds on slight incline etc. I have tried to release by playing with adjuster but to no avail - so question - is this inevitable regardless of gear or does it suggest...

    Stuck in mud/clay

Terra Dog, sure your diff is fine, the course you were on is tough for someone really experienced, never mind a newbie. For me it is a balance of taking a difficult challenge on but knowing when it will only end in probs. Sure the next time will bring better results

Off Roading??? Where can I go? I ive in the West Mids

Bit cross over hear but - in terms of snorkle - seal as much as possible - I have heard differing views on whether trying to make it stall by covering filter with bag or likes will work. I have tried it and mine never stalls but works fine in deep water. Others seem to be convinced it should...
