Been offroading - wading etc ? Recipe for hand break probs and difficult to avoid. I have had similar probs, even a "stalling noise" at low speeds as hand break locks on. On examination - more mud and silt that you could ever think you could fit into drum

Agree - sounds like battery, maybe from dodgy alternator - can/have you checked alternator output (think it is 14.5 volts or summit)

Yip but not totally effective and have you put plugs in timing case and clutch bell housing, removing afterwards. Beyond this - the alternator and oiling and greasing is still consideration. PS, I still wade but cost brings focus and attention to prevention
