It makes life easier, means you have a track rod end you can change in minuets compared to the drop arm joint removal. There tubes are heavy duty and worth the money. If you do get the kit make sure you check the steering arm a few times after use to make sure it’s tight

Did you have to do the test dry or add a bit of oil? With a bit of oil the ring may seal

Make a starter button for working under the bonnet. Leave ignition on & press button & watch for leaks

Iv just re looked at the photo… are them carbs on backwards?? I thought accelerator cable at engine front petrol pipes on the rear If that return pipe is not fitted the bowls won’t fill with fuel. Put a bit of pipe on it or crack it open

Remember which way the fuel pipes go. The link pipe between the carbs has a restriction for the return These carbs are simple as above needles or float stuck. Gentle tap with a bit of wood on the base sometimes frees them up

Undo the dash pot screw. Make sure the inners rise in the carbs. Then try no choke & foot flat to floor. Make sure you have a good charges battery

Forgot the easy way to empty the 1shot. Have you got a an old metal brake flex clamp? Put the end of the 1shot in the clamp ready. Cut the nipple end & place into hole. Twist/roll the clamp down the 1shot like a toothpaste tube Comes out very easy. (Dont do the boil in the bag)
