I used to trial with one of the local all makes clubs in Somerset in my teens. I marshalled at a couple of comp safaris too in the Minehead area. Great fun and a good way to get yourself known in a club. Great pics too. Looks like a fun day out. 😎

I had five 235/85 tyres on wolf rims in my 90 with space to spare so you should be ok with the 90.

What age is your defender? Replacing your suspension with new standard springs and shocks will be an improvement if the current ones are original. Consider upgrading with the likes of old man emu.

ARB kit is good but expensive. I’ve been looking at an awning from 4x4 direct which is cheaper.

Got the 90 back from the MoT. It passed but has a couple of advisories. A rear shock is misting slightly, a rear wheel bearing has slight play, the fuel lift pump is showing signs of weeping and the bulkhead outriggers will need welding. It’s got me thinking of a galvy chassis…

I did look at going but so far they have been on a Friday evening. The traffic from Stroud to Westbury would make it a difficult journey.

Dropped the 90 at the local Indy for an MoT on Monday…
