The bmw m62 suffer from cam chain guides failure. Iv had mine fully rebuilt. The d3 v8 is the jag 4.4 v8 great engine they fitted it in the later range rovers after ditching the BMW lump.

I have the petrol 4.4 best car ever except my range rover 4.4 petrol . Had the tdv6 before again great car if the crank don't snap.

Revisited the supercharger today we originally fitted a solid coupler on the snout rebuild. It did introduce additional idle noise so today it got stripped again and a standard original coupler fitted. Happy to report idle/tick over is more smooth/silent compared to the solid type. It seems to...

Did you clear all the codes ?? After replacing the compressor. It's in a hard fault state so unless they are cleared not just read it won't reset and work again until you do.

No probs it was a surprise to me to until we did the rebuild. The 4.4 m62 is known for oil leaks mines oil and water tight since said rebuild.

Well the dash cam allows you to switch from front view to rear view there mite not be any need for it but it does it. The night vision is also superb iv never had any trouble taking stuff off the sd card either.

The rear camera is stuck to and mounted on the inside rear. Top centre I tend to leave it set for rear view it's crystal clear auto dims car headlights behind me. You can adjust the camera angle view swiping your finger up and down on the interior mirror.

It's pretty much the front lower control arms then if it clonks when you drive forward and brake.

It clips over the existing mirror. The camera is inside attached to the new mirror picture 1 camera off so acts as a normal mirror. Picture 2 is the forward camera view it can be switched to either front or rear camera or both. Picture 3 is reversing camera auto switching when in reverse.

Drive forward slowly with windows open and brake....if you hear a clonk it's lower control arms. If they have not been done in the last 20k they will need doing. Get under the car have someone turn full lock to lock if you see the control arms moving the bushes are shot lots of "how to" on the...
