EYP 101280 if you want the LR number. They are 50p each !! Any black or painted self tapper would suffice.

Held with Torx self tapping screws. All 6 are same size. Can measure one but about 3mm estimate.

Freelander 1 Say hello to new friend ! TD4 needs new engine.

Diesel wash I guess. Maybe 2 injectors are well stuck open ?? I put a set of known working ones in and haven't looked at the ones that came out. One was missing anyway.

    Thread chasing VCU spline shaft

A standard tap would clean any burrs.

Freelander 1 Say hello to new friend ! TD4 needs new engine.

Some photos: Turbo didn't look very well. Bellhousing, engine both soaked with oil. Head looks ok, scores in the bores !!! Looks like cylinder 1 and 2 have had a prolonged wash !!

Freelander 1 Say hello to new friend ! TD4 needs new engine.

Just the failed engine to do an ortopsy on now ! Started this morning. I think I'll turn it into a competition to see what peeps think happened. Although of course, I don't know !! So I know compression was bad across all cylinders and oil was probably full of diesel and massively over full...

    Thread chasing VCU spline shaft

Not sure what you are trying to do. Did you use the bolt suitably adjusted to get leverage to pull the UJ yoke off ?? If so then the bolt is sacrificial and might be bent but never had thread damage. How did you remove the VCU from UJ ??

Freelander 1 Sill Structure - For rustproofing

Most need an air compressor and application gun. Don't have such things sadly. Unless we could borrow ?? Cavity wax seems the thing, but high pressure needed for the distances.

    Maybe a Dinitrol product??

Freelander 1 Sill Structure - For rustproofing

Found these. I took a 3 Door FL1 sill which I made some cross section photos from. Maybe useful for rust proofing and wax injection. Note that the grommet in the rear wheel arch covers the back end, the plastic door trim screw mounts get you into the outer sill and the cable loom mount holes...

Made up your brake pipes this afternoon. 😀

Freelander 2 (LR2) Diesel Leak when I fill the tank.

On a FL1 I had one with a pin hole in the breather pipe. When the fuel went up the filler pipe (when it was filled to cut off), it also went a small way up the breather. Just enough to find the hole. The hole, had been made by the self tapping screw holding the fuel sender cover on !!!

Can you not change subframe and rear suspension as a unit from a scrapper ??
