    Help!!!!!

Right this is where we are at..... Everything would appear to be working but obviously something is not. We filled the filter with fuel and the engine runs great and even drives great until the filter runs out of fuel. Somewhere down the line there is something causing fuel starvation. We have...

    Help!!!!!

My mate has an old Landy that has had a 300TDI transplant. Driving to work he started losing all power consistently having to drop through the box to maintain drive. He has since changed the fuel filter and fitted a new lift pump. His Landy now fires and runs for 30-40 seconds before cutting...

    DIY clutch replacement....

I really fancy saving myself a few quid and replacing both the clutch, flywheel and release bearing myself on my Defender 300Tdi. Does anyone have a link to an easy to follow step-by-step guide? What are the pitfalls? Any tips? etc. Many thanks.

    Towing advice (Caravan)........

I may well look at a boost pin then. Whilst my Landy drives well I have noticed on long steep inclines I need to drop down through the box. Thats with a new turbo and intercooler, so with a caravan that will be exaggerated further. The pump has been tweaked as the cap has been removed from the...

    Towing advice (Caravan)........

I simply wish to tow a 4 berth caravan. I might need to have the landy seen to, to make sure that it is running how it should be in terms of power/torque and maybe tweaked to get it to where it needs to be, as the mrs wishes to get a caravan for some cheap weekends away with our little girl.

    Towing advice (Caravan)........

I have a Defender 110 300TDI. What size caravan is the 300TDI capable of towing comfortably? Your advice would be welcome. Many thanks Rob.

The old girl has been treated to a bit of pampering and a facelift......

From this..... Albeit it was much more beat up than that as the picture above was when I first purchased her. Lately all the doors were rotten and required replacement. Now fitted with fully steel doors and skins all marine bonded and galvanised. She should last me well now.

    Respray ordeal

Well the bulk of the body is now painted and looks amazing. Just the roof and arches to paint tomorrow. The Fuji white is a really nice colour with hints of blue. Now I'm more than happy. :)

Fire and Ice Colour Codes - Interested in 'Ice' codes

Bluedog, please don't take it personally. I was just a little miffed at myself more than anything. The colour was definitely nothing like the pictures. It could well have been incorrectly mixed, albeit the paint suppliers deny this as I was told they would. Therefore to reduce further heartache...

Fire and Ice Colour Codes - Interested in 'Ice' codes

Well we finally got to the bottom of it. LRC909 is actually Arctic White/Porcelain White which is actually very cream in colour. Which makes me doubt if the colour codes provided here by members is actually correct. Anyhow, to obtain a white I have opted for Fuji White which is LRC867 and is the...

Fire and Ice Colour Codes - Interested in 'Ice' codes

I wouldn't mind but I provided them with the paint code LRC909. What's the paint code for Limestone White?

    Respray ordeal

Surely if thats the case they should have mentioned that at time of purchase. When you order paint and provide a code you'd expect it to be the right colour. Its not even close!
