Use some proper off road recovery points, the small round eye is for on road towing and not upto the stresses a snatch recovery exerts. Also use a snatch rope for snatching as it has some stretch in it and uses stored kinetic energy to move the vehicle. A none kinetic strop is brutal for snatching.

I think the D4 can only store 4 pairings, if you haven’t already, you may need to delete the previous stored pairings then try to pair.

If you’ve fitted bigger than 16” wheels there are bigger brake upgrades available, which give much better stopping power
