Hi all, Out of curiousity, when installing a new winch wire, should it run over the top of the drum, or underneath? It looks to me like if it goes over the top, it would be quite a sharp angle from the fairlead up to the drum. Would the winch be stronger pulling from underneath? Thanks Tom

Hi all, quick wuestion, Im looking at fitting an auxiliary fusebox to my 110. It has 6 terminals on it, and I was going to use this for my front spots etc. Does anyone know where the best place would be to take the 12v supply from to power the fusebox? Does it need to be ignition controlled...

Its a 1989 one ten (sorry, use 'defender' as a term so I dont get confused with my series 2!)

So the earth did make a slight improvement, as it turns out, the louder the volume, the more distortion is apparent. Obviously, with the inside of a defender being a fairly high noise area, the volume needs to be quite high to power it! At the moment, there are only 2 of the 6 speakers wired...

Thanks chaps! The more I think about it, the more likely it seems that the cheaper head unit isnt necessarily a good idea! Ill check the earth now and will report back! Thanks Tom
