Top and bottom door nuts and bolts

The 'bolts' are actually threaded rods attached to the door top. The bolts can be undone by either a 11/16 AF spanner or an 18mm socket. Cheers Tom

    Heated Windscreens...

Not sure if your price is from here or not, but have you checked out Ricky Evans Motorsport?

    Galvanizing Wheel Rims

I would be careful with hot dip galvanising wheel rims, because if it leaves a sharp or uneven surface where the rubber sits then you will be endlessly changing tyres..

    Landy Book for kids

Hi Bump, The third book in the series (I believe) was titled 'landy's new home'. As you say, Tata shut her down for copyright infringement, (bastards indeed!), and I have a feeling she sold off all of the books for a knockdown price when she was closing down. She asked people to write to her...

The 200tdi (and perhaps others) exhaust manifold. What a pain it is to do that central bottom nut! No bloody room..!

Stating issues starting to annoy me.

Cheers! I figure someone might stumble across this post and now they can see the resolution. Nothing worse than searching, seeing that someone got loads of helpful advice, but then never followed up and said whether it was sorted or not!

Stating issues starting to annoy me.

Well well, after a lot of prodding, poking, swearing and drinking, I found the solution to my problem!! There is a relay that sits behind the fuse box on the lower bulkhead. This relay is part of the ignition system, and yes, it was on its way out. I swapped it for an identical relay that was...

That's a good point, my engine earth isn't attached I don't think! Is it just a small wire with a ring terminal to the block? Cheers Tom

Stating issues starting to annoy me.

Problem is it was a 'new' 'heavy duty' starter motor less than 12 months ago. Surely the windings should last longer than that! Cheers for the idea.

Stating issues starting to annoy me.

So, for a good while now my 110 fitted with a discovery 200tdi has suffered from starting issues. I jump in, turn the key, to be greeted by a click. Flat battery? Nope. Ok, jump out, bridge the terminals on the solenoid, and it UsUALLY starts ( sometimes you just hear the starter spinning...

    Defender 110 CSW dog guard

Hi all. I'm after a full height dog guard to fit in me 110 sw. I have got one at the moment, but the top bracket fouls the side panel trim in the vehicle so I haven't fitted it. Does anyone have one lying around. It's the one with straight pins at the top mounting, not 90 degree ones!
