Struts depot on the net has a good section. The rear tail gate is the same design if it’s mesh or solid. Remove mesh and jut add flat Ali in its place. All fixings are the same.

Took me ages to find a new cover,came with the solid rear but no strut. Still have the mesh door incase the dogs go inside. When this is fitted I push the mesh right over onto the roof. My air intake is behind the headlight as it’s not a normal filter.

Happy sunny day…. Well after a week off my brain celll has shut down. Was away with friends seeing the Welsh countryside and sun. Now to sort my stuff out ready for work. At least the mrs will be happier with the quiet returning back to the house & me not been outside working before 06.00hrs...

Been to plenty of pay & play days where I have not even bothered driving. By us they just put the motors in the deepest things they could find & winch all day. I’m sure none of these drivers could do a challenge event(punch hunt). & last a day.

Check to see if the manifold gaskets are the same… If they are different look at the pictures to see the difference & indicates the model with the larger ports.

Few things I spotted… Move the spill rail return away from the throttle cable Where is the pipe from top of fuel pump(where the star boost pin adjuster is) ?

Removed the bed system Fixed(pop rivit) a bar back onto the tail gate Installed the new spare wheel brackets to get the tyre off the floor. Off to shops for nuts/bolts/washers. Replace stocks And when the mrs won’t hold your nuts ;) use a magnet. meant I could go inside & do everything up

Do these big trips same time every year as the friend comes over from Germany just for lanes & overlanding. As for local stuff…. I think August may be the next trip.

@landielover2a Here a few photos of the front brackets needed to mount the 2B cab. This does have a new chassis(inspected by dvsa) It has power steering(adaption done to chassis when built)

Day 5…. New wiper blade needed(replace 1 now the other has broke) Filled screen wash up Checked oil Kicked tyres All good & 180miles drive home.

Broke the headlight washer.. rest of it was fine due to lack of speed involved,but if someone was walking between the motors it could have been worse.

Mine needed an adjustment this week. 3 clicks as normal and parked on the hill. 10 mins later it rolled back 5 foot into the Hilux behind me….centre double locking nuts had vibrated loose green laning. May change this to a single nylock instead
