Looks like this has been a coil spring motor for over 10years. So how has this not had a tug by plod for an inspection. Someone has spent a lot of money doing this up and not getting it inspected. Also still says 2500cc not 3.5

It’s either internal light or instrument lights Both won’t be on at the same time(unless it’s been changed by the PO) By you right knee you should some switches(hazard is 1 of these) and the light switch should be there

Instrument lights should be off until lights are on. Look by the hazard switch for a light switch. Give that a move and see if anything happens .(it does interior light & insruments lights)

When the exhaust gasses are pushed back into the engine to slow it down… It don’t work in my daily,I would not even bother to put it on a LR. @wrickm i would just change down a gear & use engine braking instead.your in more control.

Rear wash wipe,radio, cigarette lighter,rear demistet Just lift the plastic tray up & put them underneath if they are in the way

Is it an air con addition? Top of dash is standard(early type small air/windscreen vents)

Have used sikaflex. Hold the doors/windows onto the side of a horse lorry. Also used this for blanking off alpines/rear door/rear passenger doors with Ali. Yep it’s pricey but worth it. Can’t remember if it contains stuff that paint don’t stick to or reacts to

All the rear lights on the landrover are LEDs Don’t get smoked ones. Just get standard type.

I fitted Rdx kit as well. Changed the side repeater to TD5 style( they do a fitting adapter) Needed the Rdx dash tell tale light for the system to work Also change the rear fog & reverse light to the normal rectangle style from britpart. These have lasted and are also LED

Check voltage at horn end. If that does not work check the fuses. Check both sides of the fuse as to check all good And what landrover do you have? What makes you think it’s the switch?

No relay on the horn. Check connections on the horn as the vibrate & break off. Check voltage at horn & work to the switch

Good luck with the sale. At least you still have 1 project on the go & people can see the motors are looked after

Secure that bonnet as well.. Etch widows,headlights & any panel that will be easily removed. May sound overkill but if they see them marked will hinder selling parts Enjoy the motor,don’t forget to wave to other landrovers
