Now all my cages were for 90 or truck cabs so only had 1 hoop. Do 110 have the hoop behind the passenger or just the front? Just had a thought… @bankz5152 has had both he may have a bit more knowlage in designs (thanks for you help)

Depending on how good you are with a welder… get a kit form & build yourself. Now there are 2 ways. Front hoop across the front screen or up from footwell/bulkhead outrigger going rearward to the hoop behind the seats.then weld a straight tube across to join these above the screen & removable...

Horn in location Uses these bolts to fix in place Looks like purple/black for the horn feed. Earth off the nut that hold the horn.

Looking at the front.. Right hand side,attached to bonnet release slam panel,behind black grill. Held up by 6mm bolts. Feed is in the same loom as the lights/side light/indicator. You need a photo?

Find where the crows roost & knock a few branches down. Use long poles if you don’t/can’t use lead. They may move on if you do this a few times. Dangle a few CDs on string to see if that moves them on. Put a broom stick through the arms of a coat & hang this up to so it moves,relocate to...

Put a jump lead earth direct to the starter. Try that. Some times the solinoid does not fully engage & give full load . These can be stripped down or replaced. Starter motor. Are you using a series box with an adapter plate? Are you using a v8 flywheel

Horn should not be on a relay.

Could you have a faulty earth then? As on the bench both cables would be directly on the starter.

Theres no chance of that dog getting through them gaps ;)

B918 vas 1985 v8 petrol

Get a V8 110 of an 85 landrover.(if you need a reg number to order I can give you mine) . same shape as the facet(barrel type) and a lot cheaper. Mounted mine in the engine bay by the brake servo. I do forget to turn it on some days & it still runs. Yep they are a bit noisy
