    if the head of the piston is pitted where it meets the cam shaft it can be filled with chemical metal and sanded down, brother in law did his 2 years ago an is still working and no knocking yet

    fitted a new manifold gasket as the old one had split from top to bottom on the first inlet, fitted new injector spill rail and new rear shocks as the last ones were ****e. drives much better an pulls like a train again:5bparty: think i'll keep it now

    i've had the water pump problem, original one buggered up last year, had one fitted at the garage, buggered up after 5 months, not ****part pump, next one i fitted was ****part, lasted 6 months, the one that is on now i fitted back end of last month, it was an airtech i think, see how long that...

    when i first got my disco i was ringing around for prices for the cam belt, when i phoned foremost 4x4 i thought he was talking a right load of bollix, he was telling me 'this needs replacing that needs doing, you ought to get that done' and gave me a quote of 800 quid without even looking at...

    fitted a couple of nice brass radiator and thermostat housing bungs instead of the crappy plastic ones that fook up after they been removed about 3 times

    reliable! are you having a laugh or what? best you can get for the money you have mate, mines an S model with no fancy extras, it's fine for what i want but reliable well!? it's more of a hobby than a car, as you'll already know having a p38

    found oil leaking from the inlet fannymould and sorted out the loose spot light on the a frame then topped up the screen wash bottle and went for a nice drive
