hi all after a short spell without a landy i have taken the plunge and got a disco as i was lost without the green oval can anyone tell me where i can get the tailgate speaker from or is anybody selling one from a disco that may be getting broken up cheers

i get at least 35 to 40 but then i got a perkins prima fitted

check the steering arms on the steering box may need to cut a hole for the drop arm to get full movement and i am sure the footwell are bigger on series or on td5 either way one of em is

my thoughts exactly looks like i will keep them at 25 psi feels ok on road so i guess my first instinct may be right cheers all

its just i put 30 in my last tyres and they wore out in the centres alone but they were only 235 70 16

silly question i suppose but as i have just put new shoes on the series3 i wondered what pressures to put in i am running 235/85/16 and would like to know what sort of pressure to put in for mainly road use cheers

if your going the disco 20 tdi way then be prepared to make a bodge exhaust as the turbo is very close to the chassis as it faces down but on the duffender it is upwards thats the difference and it cools pretty much ok with a series rad just stick the intercooler else where my mates done it goes...

will do that in morning hope its not the diff and only a uj only just finished building the old girl

bearings are sound not checked the diff (what do i look for)

also shes running on free wheelers so i dont think its resonating from the front

its like a grumbling noise and the whole landy vibrates i did think of the ujs but they seen to be pretty solid

i know all series landys are noisey but i have such a noise comming from the rear end axle i presume that its really peeing me off after building it from the ground up (but not the alxes ) the noise is only there as you first take your foot off the throttle or when trying to keep a constant...

stick a perkins prima in cheap as chips to run (forgive the pun )and loads of power on the road

it goes straight in my mate has just done it although you need to remove 1 stud from series gear box and fabricate an exhaust but not too bad a job and now he needs some brakes
