Has anyone any experience of using this company for parts. Just ordering a new rear wheel carrier and wondered what they were like to deal with..

I need to replace the rubbers on the rear shocks as they are shot and was thinking, As it's likely to be the original shocks fitted to my 95 tdi is it worth changing the whole lot and if so was the terracotta ones any good .. opinions gratefully received,,

I was under the impression you should remove the anti roll bar when offloading as it limits the articulation which kinda goes against what you fitted the lift kit for in the first place ,

When I rebuilt the hub I scrubbed the cast housing in the sink nice n clean then painted it along with the new metal retainer at the back of the hub as its only plain tin and will rust instantly otherwise .. looked nice n fresh when done . And yes used the one shot grease that came with the kit...

I fitted these myself last year.. no issues fitting and came with all bearings seals etc needed

Speedy cables do a refurbished or calibration service-- for a moderate fee 60 quid I think

Soon as mine arrived from pressbrake I degreased it, painted it with a generous coat of galvafroid and then 3 coats of red oxide .. ready for a spray coating of Matt black once it's fitted ,, ;-)

Out of interest ,, is there was way of testing to see if they are working without taking them out

Inner gutters .. ?? I'm presuming this is behind the roof lining .. that kinda makes sense. As it as always feels damp above the drivers door lining

Just out of interest what is the reason for using a relay if the switches are more than capable of handling the amps .. only asking as I will be doing similar later in year

I've fitted new door rubbers . Front vent seals and masticed numerous areas and still it gets in somewhere.. only thing I can do is remove all the trim so I can see where it get s in I guess .. not sure if I've got that much time to spare lol

I appreciate what your saying .. but I must admit I do quite like the idea that it catches most of the water that leaks in..as said mine also leaks despite my best efforts. I also have carpet at present which is fine in summer but not in the winter when it spends most of the time gopping wet..
