If you contact the manufacturers with the axle weights then they'll give you a definitive answer. The current pressures are too high at the front and too low at the back, especially if loaded up. The standard figures are 28 psi at the front and 48 psi at the back. The axle weights are 1200...

I think these Tracker thingies have a lot going for them. When I'm nearing finished fixing up my Landy I'm going to fit one. It's not only a hell of a deterrent, it enables you to get it back before they've butchered your pride and joy. That and make some improvements to the security system...

Squeal problem, If the noise is coming only on the overrun then it is linked to a thrust bearing in the transmission. When you put the clutch in you are disconnecting the engine breaking load from the transmission. If it's the gearbox / transfer box I would expect the noise to come from under...

Good luck with LR tyclyd, I feel for you. that is one hell of a lot of cash. If you don't get anywhere I think I'd go for a second hand engine and rebuild it from that or just drop it in.
