Hi Mudplugger, There are several threads around that discuss the reducing performance you get, particularly in the 200/300 tdi engines when the intake system gets clogged up with crap that's been sucked in as part of the emissions control. (e.g. oil mist out of the engine rocker cover etc.)...

Hi Griff, The tank comes as low as the bottom of the lower supports on the tow bar in the picture above. This means it's abot 13" deep from the bootom of the tank up to the bottom of the bar supporting the floor across between the arches. Hope that helps.
