Hi Dale, you are right about the comment if asking about fuel consumption you shouldn't be getting 1:). But to put your mind at ease......I never let my lpg run empty and fill it back up when just 1 light showing.This works out usually about £28-£29 and for that i get between 125-140...

Just got back from doing my chauffeuring duties,taking the better half to work.Not just once but twice 2 people have pulled out in front of me this morning as if i wasn't even there.FFS its Big,Black and weighs 2 tonne and its doing 30mpg towards you.Please don't pull out when i'm 50 yards away...

Hi Dale, I run a 4.0 v8 Disco 2 on lpg as my everday car and i have no complaints....I do know all of the staff at my local filling station by first names now but wot the hell..Its a Landrover and dont you just love em.

Hi Vernon, it took me 15 minutes to get the starter motor out of my Disco 2 v8...and 15 mins to put back in. My local independant landrover specialist only charges £35 per hour for labour. So in my opinion i think £80 is a bit steep.

2.0 mpi engines are hard to come by......I have a 300 series 2.0mpi on lpg,currently off the road as she needs some welding done for test.The engine is the same as the rover 820 16v T20 engine. Trans from the disco won't fit unless you are planning on making it 4x4. Dave
