I personally would go for a 2.0L zetec running on carbs and a T9 5 speed box, but thats just me. Or if you want a lot less hassle go for a mazda mx5 engine and box and ECU.....Reliable as hell and a very simple implant.

Hi Noisy, It was a while ago when i last did one,so will double check on Rave and get back to you. Have double checked Rave and there is no reason to remove rear bearing end cap. The seal is a simple pull out and push fit in new one.

You could always blame the wife for breaking it and score for some beer tokens lol. If it is popping out of the exhault and sounds like it has a pot off, sounds to me like a duff injector. If you put your location on your profile you might be able to get some local help.

Its surely would... A way to see if it is an injector knock.....is to start the vehicle in neutral of course or it runs over your feet lol. then crack open one at a time the diesel feed pipes to each injector and note the engine tone and amount of diesel spurted out of each.Do them 1 at a time...

You are welcome mate....Just make sure everything is clean......I usually spray the rear main oil seal housing with lashings of brake cleaner to get the rear of the engine clean before i remove the old seal,it just gets rid of all of the oil and gunge.

Handles and brace should be in a long vinyl bag. This is stored under the rear seat bases.If you lift the rear seats you will be able to see 2 velco straps that hold the bag in place. Dave

The wheel are genuine landrover....They are called XS Deep Dish Alloys. To finish the look off you need a chrome sparewheel cover and colourcode the centre to the same as your car or get a LANDYZONE sticker for the centre
