i'm after a chainsaw(petrol) mainly for cutting firewood/logs,which brand/make can anyone recommend. what do i look out for what size should i buy. anyone got one for sale?

i had my td swapped for a 200tdi and used the origional round air filter box.it sat too high(wouldn't drop down cuz of turbo/intercooler pipes) so i screwed a strap/bar vertical to the inner wing,cut the intake out of the box turned the intake upside down and welded it back in(this allowed the...

where's the best/proper place to put an earth strap.just doing some of the things i was advised to on here bought a new battery,tested the alternator(ok) now for the earth strap its a 200tdi cheers

bin to the scrappy and swiped some heat shield of a f*rd,i'll flatten it out and rivet it on,should do the job cheers

i dont know there technical name,but i need summat to go between the engine and the wiring against the bulkhead to deflect the heat so it dont melt the wiring.there isnt much room(millimetres)so it has to be quite slim. any ideas wot i can use and where to get it from??? cheers

i cant name n shame him,lets say he's a friend of a friend and he's got nowt to do with the loony zone i still have the td filter box with a k and n in it,so i could just make some sort of frame up and use this then. didn't somebody on here ask questions about using a td filter setup on a tdi...
