    The title speaks for itself. I have a dog and a just purchased D2 2000 ADVENTURER and no manual. Can you lock without the alarm on so the dog can sit in? Am guessin the fookers wont try and nick it with me dog snarling at them! :) Many Thanks Paul

    Cyclone is feeding into the suction side...as was...do you think the increased turbo pressure is pressurising engine hence causing leaks? Should i strip the cyclone?

    Hi, Had to do away with my air box and use a 'green' (k and n) style filter as the root my old pipe kept shredding the alternator belt. 200tdi conversion from 19j. I made a tee so the turbo pipe and breather pipe fit as the air box and then the filter fits the other end of the steel flange...

    Water leak in footwells

    I agree the rest of you landy must be in full working order if you worried about the footwell. Just leave it a month and something big will fook up and you'll forget about the foot well :)

    How reliable/unreliable has your defender been?

    Exspensive if you wanna pay a dealer or indy garage but if you are prepared to have a go and get your hands messy then there is bags of room to work....nowt to complicted to fix and you will probs get to enjoy faffing with it. Just make sure its got a good 200tdi or newer and **** the chasis...

    mmmm....checked the cable and it appeared that the flap was fully over...no more movement on the arm...but when a stripped it the flap still had a gap. Your right with the flap even slightly open its letting some cold in and reducing the temp by alot. Butg the arm being fully over does not mean...

    Aye H have used a hammer myself a few times but being up **** creek when it aint happening and not having the kit is not fun. Am about to tackle the swivel pin and with two track rods to remove am not fancing me chances of plain sailing! :doh:

    Nasty Squeak not belts

    Prop Shaft uv joint was the problem....straight forwards to change but needed blow torch to heat up nuts and bolts to remove. Replaced all nuts and bolts at same time and bear in mind these are specials with fine threads. Spot on now!:D

    Dim/Dip gone to ****!

    ****part dim dip switch arm had failed after only a year causing this fault. There are little contactors at the back of the arm and you can push them in and out to make sure you have a contact. Sorted and £19.99 for a new 'All makes one". Hope this will be better quality.
