had a similar problem on my 2a which turned out to be the earth connection behind the dash ,the nut had almost come off allowing the cables to move so sometimes they made a connection and other times not

must be the manifold season,I took mine off today to fix a blow and replace a broken stud,only problem is that when I removed all the bolts the manifold fell in half,its obviously been briken for a long time as the fracture is covered in carbon,the annoying thing is everything undid fairly easly...

looks like a dash mounted illuminated switch it is then thanks ,all

ita a n early box without synchro on 1 and 2 so I guess I will just mount a switch on an auxilliary panel,thanks for the answers

I was wondering this evening about fitting a reversing light to the back of my 2a 109 and was not sure if you can fit a switch to the gearbox,its too cold to go and take out the seat and underseat panel now so can anyone tell me cheers ,Nigel

I cut front floor mats from inch thick rubber stable mats,worked a treat and only £25 for a 6 foot by 4 foot sheet

most independent dealers sell it by the 2 metre length,Ive got to go and buy some for mine tomorrow as I have just come in out of the garage after removing it all

hope you havent taken the seat off that bike and fittrd it in the passenger seat

just taken the top off mine,took an hour all the bolts over the screen snapped off and one door top stud seized but I expected that anyway ,wife and daughter love it now and I will only get wet if it rains plus no need to sweep out the front now the crap just blows away
