    Fuel Burning Heater

My takes at least 10 minutes on a cold day before any sort of heat comes through to the cabin. I have to let her run a couple of minutes before I drive it otherwise she really struggles up a local hill. When warm she flys up it, so I would like the fbh to work

As I said on a previous post I have removed the fuse but it still didn't work at about...

    Fuel Burning Heater

Been looking forward to frost in the mornings so as to see if my fhb works now I've pulled & replaced the fuse!! Was pleased to see the frost this morning but...no luck!! Still didn't come on so it looks like it might mean a new sensor & the removal of the front bumper! :(

    Fuel Burning Heater

Have pulled the fuse but it's obviously too warm at the moment so barring taking the front bumper off I shall have to wait for the weather here 'darn saff' to change. Thank you for your help guys...appreciated!

    Fuel Burning Heater

Found mention in the handbook of a ceramic heater. Is that the same thing? I've also been out to the car in the dark & freezing cold, put the heater to max & the blower on with the just the ignition on. Thought I could hear a buzzing from the exhaust tube but not sure. There was definitely no...

    Fuel Burning Heater

I've had my Freelander for 18 months. Been looking at some threads on the fuel burning heater, I didn't even know I had one. Just checked & found the exhaust tube in front of the front n/s wheel so I assume I have one but it's never worked to my knowledge. I've always thought that the car...

    Freelander tyre issue

Yes it will be the cause! You must change the other 2 tyres asap. Had the same problem myself. There are others on this site who can explain why but the difference in circumference can lead to IRD &/or VCU failure

ok, my vcu is fine, so whats its beef ???

Is the VCU bearing the same as the prop shaft bearing?

ok, my vcu is fine, so whats its beef ???

Myzeneye, I have been watching this thread closely, I have exactly the same noise. Let me tell you a story of how mine came about, it might help you. I had a different noise/rumble develop so I put the car into a local well trusted indy. They renewed the prop shaft bearing & on getting the car...

    Rumble between 60-70mph

Have have been snooping around this forum for a while & found it very informative. I now have a problem which I can't find a reference to here. I renewed the 2 front tyres a few months ago on my 53 plate 56K Freelander, I went for Pirellis. On leaving the tyre shop I had vibrations/rumble...
